My wife and I went for lunch yesterday, not crowded and pretty good service. She had the shrimp hibachi and I had the Sushi lunch. Average quality, pretty much the same as any other NE Ohio "Japanese" restaurant. She asked for no dressing on her salad but got it anyway so I had to eat it. The restaurant is well maintained with interesting lighting.
Samurai is still one of my favorite restaurants. Quality and service here is also great!
Great place, good service, entertaining chefs and delicious food with generous portions- what more could you expect?! We also ordered some sushi rolls along with our hibachi meal, would definitely come back again! It was so fun!
I have meen here 3+ time for work related events and each time they have done a tremendous job!!! Even when the party is 30ish people, they get all our drinks and orders in a timely manner and we are never waiting very long for the experience to start!! They do all the fun things... sake contest, catching broccoli in your mouth, onion volcano, ect!! They do even more when it's your birthday (disco ball!!!) I truly recommend the hibatchi dinner (even if you don't go to the show) it's delicious and I truly believe you get more food than other places!!! You get rice AND noodles!!! Awesome job and I can't wait to be back!!!
This was our 1st time at Samurai in Strongsville, and we were very impressed by the fast service, and exceptional food. We were seated right away, got our drink order going, and food arrived very soon after. Definitely will be on our favorite restaurant list.
Good, fresh sushi. Portions are huge. The kids dinners were big enough for adult size.
New Year's Day lunch to celebrate. Had to wait for a while til our table filled since we were first sat. Server was nice & they made sure to cook my food before the shrimp was cooked since I have a shellfish allergy. Chicken hibachi dinner I ordered included: Chicken, vegetables, fried rice, noodles, soup w/ mushrooms, small salad, and shrimp appetizer, sides of yummy & steak sauce. Everything was tasty & cooked well. The teriyaki was a bit too salty as a few of us noted. The entertainment was good as the cook chef went through his routine. The prices were ok too.
Jason was a great chef. Everyone was friendly. We had a great time. We celebrated her birthday. And now that song is in our head over and over tonight. Thank you!!!!
